LT has collaborated and trained with respected firms, and has contributed to large-scale projects and masterplanning in China, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Moving to the Hudson Valley has allowed him to establish a sensitivity to the regional context and build strong relationships with local contractors, consultants, and artisans. His work strives to sustain and celebrate community through the built environment. Liam Turkle studied at Rhode Island School of Design. He was a teaching fellow at China Academy of Art School of Architecture under Wang Shu, and has acted as guest critic at Columbia University GSAPP, Pratt Institute, and Harvard GSD. His work has been shown in the Venice and Chicago Biennials. Prior to establishing the office, LT worked for Stan Allen Architect and Walter Chatham Architect.
